TEXT MESSAGE SCAM ALERT
Hawaii County Vehicle Registration and Licensing is warning Hawaii residents of fraudulent text messages that is attempting to steal money by claiming to be from the "Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV)" that threaten to suspend vehicle registration and driving privileges.
We are excited to announce our offices will now be accepting all major credit cards, google pay and apple pay starting December 11, 2024.
*Note: A 2.35% processing fee will be charged on all debit/credit & apple/google pay transactions. Hawai'i County does not retain any portion of this fee
